Jennifer Berning (she/her) is a singer songwriter based in Berlin. Sometimes delicate and brittle, sometimes bright and powerful, her voice takes you on a journey through all the seasons of life. Her songs unfold a dark, heart wrenching melancholy juxtaposed by a dreamy sound and folky melodies to sing along to. These are the shots I’ve taken for her much-anticipated debut EP “Face to Face” consisting of 4 tracks released in 2021.

Low - Laura Garau 〰️

Laura Garau (she/her) – stage name Low – is a singer songwriter born and raised in Sardinia and currently based in Berlin.
She started to play the keyboards and piano at the age of 11 and after 2 years – inspired by one of her favourite songwriters – she decided to learn how to play the acoustic and electric guitar.

During the last couple of years she decided to give voice to her inner world through music, sounds and written texts. Her lyrics are inspired by her background and the events that she experienced in the last 5 years of her life.

Her music is an expression of deep, warm and melancholic pop with some elements of indie music. During her live performances she is able to combine different styles of music to take you on an emotional journey where she expresses feelings like tenderness, passion, vulnerability, rage and sarcasm.

Some of these photos were taken to promote her second single ‘Blade of Glass’, some others portray her during the shooting of her video clip for ‘Fabulous Lies’ – a single she has released on the 14th of February 2020. The four elements shots where taken in the event of the release of her last new Italian single ‘Vertigine’ (out on September 2020) on all online shops.

Labrysinthe is voluntarily committed to the institution of psytrance and stands for better machines, brighter knowledge, bolder music, and the blissful ecstasies of the beat. Labrysinthe is Natalia Lincoln (she/her), who took the scenic route to psytrance — first through classical training, then joining gothic/apocalyptic folk band Unto Ashes (NYC) as premium purveyor of keyboards, vocals, and gloom. She moved to Berlin in 2008 to taste the delightfully twisted freakquencies of electronic psychedelica, at which point Labrysinthe was born into this world that could neither spell her name nor name her spell. Since then, she-who-must-be-Labrysinthe studied at dBs Music Berlin. She is an original member of the Strength in Numbers beat collective in Berlin.

Lapwings’ unique organic sound is hard to put in a box or music genre, just like his front-man Jeal (he/him), Belgian scientist who cut his ties with the corporate world in Belgium to give flight to his musical ambitions in Berlin. If you had the international dimension of the band (Pablo, Guitar, France – Natasha, Cello, USA – Marco, Bass, Italie, Ivo – Portugal), you have a melting pot of influences with a pinch of various folk, pop, and singer-songwriter influences.
