ABOUT

Portrait of An Dirella

Europe, Berlin and Italy

Stories outside the frame.

I’m Anna, an Italian photographer based in Berlin, working across portraiture, music, culture and place.

My work centres on lives and stories that resist easy definitions: voices, identities and experiences often left outside the frame.

Through intimate portraits, underground music scenes, urban solitude and live performance, I explore presence, identity and resistance with a visual language that is both sensitive and direct.

With a background in set design and photography, I create images that stay close to people, atmosphere and the worlds they inhabit.

MY APPROACH

I create images that uplift, illuminate and safeguard stories that challenge the usual narrative. Guided by care and intention, I honour the beauty, complexity and authenticity of human experience.

TESTIMONIALS

A few words
from people I’ve
created with.

★★★★★

“I would recommend working with Anna because:

  • she is a great photographer with a great eye for detail;
  • she managed to take beautiful pictures of our band at two concerts, despite low light and difficult conditions;
  • she is reliable, super professional, and a fantastic human being. 🙂”

“Anna is a passionate, creative and talented photographer with a vision. Her musical background and her will to understand you as an artist, your music and the stories you have to tell make her work incredibly meaningful. It was a pleasure to work with her on the visual concept for my upcoming EP.”

What services do you offer?

I offer a range of photography services tailored to independent creatives. This includes:

  • concept artwork for music releases
  • promotional portraits for pre- and post-release campaigns
  • live concert and backstage photography
  • artist portraits, on location or staged
  • street and documentary-style visuals

Whether you already have a clear vision or are still figuring things out, I’d love to collaborate and help shape something that feels true to you.

How much do you charge?

Prices vary depending on the type of shoot, location and project scope, but I always aim to keep my work accessible, especially for queer and independent creatives.

If you have a limited budget, don’t be afraid to reach out. Let’s talk about what’s possible.

What kind of artists do you work with?

I work with musicians, performers, filmmakers and other artists whose work is rooted in individuality, openness and genuine expression.

While my practice centres queer stories and visibility, I collaborate with people of all identities who value respect, authenticity and a thoughtful creative exchange.

From portraiture to promotional visuals, my work blends creativity, care and intention, creating a safe, collaborative space where identity, artistry and self-expression are celebrated.

Where are you based? Do you travel for work?

I’m based in Berlin, but I’m happy to travel for the right project, especially within Europe. Reach out and let’s see what’s possible.

How can I book a shoot with you?

Just email me at andirellaphoto@gmail.com or send a message via WhatsApp or Telegram at +49 176 43 60 29 02.

Tell me about yourself, your project and anything that represents your energy: links, moodboards, socials, playlists or references. I’ll get back to you and we’ll take it from there.

What happens after we decide to work together?

Once we agree on the project, we’ll define the scope, timing, location and what the images will be used for.

From there, I’ll send over a clear proposal and we’ll shape the process together, whether that means planning a shoot, developing a visual concept or leaving space for something more spontaneous.
