Labrysinthe.

Portraits and visual material created for Labrysinthe, the Berlin-based electronic music project of Natalia Lincoln.

Labrysinthe is voluntarily committed to the institution of psytrance: better machines, brighter knowledge, bolder music and the blissful ecstasies of the beat.

Natalia Lincoln, she/her, took the scenic route to psytrance. After classical training, she joined gothic-apocalyptic folk band Unto Ashes in New York as a premium purveyor of keyboards, vocals and gloom.

She moved to Berlin in 2008, where the delightfully twisted frequencies of electronic psychedelia led to the birth of Labrysinthe, a project that could neither spell her name nor name her spell.

Since then, she-who-must-be-Labrysinthe has studied at dBs Music Berlin and is an original member of the Strength in Numbers beat collective.
