She.

An ongoing photographic study of womanhood, presence and the urban everyday.

She has developed over recent years on the streets of Berlin. The photographs follow women of different ages in unguarded, self-contained moments: in motion, alone, waiting, daring, observed or deliberately unseen.

Rather than proposing a single image of strength, the work looks at the tensions women negotiate every day: visibility and withdrawal, beauty and expectation, power and vulnerability.

Each portrait sits between the codes projected onto women and the private ways they inhabit themselves.
