Lapwings.

Live music and visual material created for Lapwings, an international Berlin-based band with a sound that resists easy categorisation.

Lapwings’ organic sound is hard to put in a box. Led by frontman Jeal, he/him, a Belgian scientist who left the corporate world in Belgium to follow his musical ambitions in Berlin, the band moves across folk, pop and singer-songwriter influences.

Its international dimension brings together Pablo on guitar from France, Natasha on cello from the USA, Marco on bass from Italy and Ivo from Portugal, creating a warm and layered musical language.

These images follow the band in performance, holding the atmosphere, movement and intensity of their live sound.
